"The Light, The Lesson" was an unusual choice for us. A Lane Tietgen tune that had a lot of lyrical content. We usually didn't attempt much that required thoughtful handling, but we'd almost always take a run at anything Lane wrote! It sounds much different than almost anything else we ever recorded or performed.
